The Jarama circuit on the northern outskirts of Madrid hosted the Spanish Grand Prix in 1968, 1970, 1972, 1974, 1976, 1978, and 1981 before losing the race to Catalunya. Its fast, flowing layout now hosts the Formula E Madrid E-Prix.
